Without sounding immodest and name calling, Dr. Chike Obidigbo - TopicsExpress

Without sounding immodest and name calling, Dr. Chike Obidigbo who is wishing to become the governor of Anambra state through court and those wishing or thinking that Dr Chike Obidigbo will become the governor of Anambra state through court are all in the dream land and should have a case study to Section 141 of Electoral Act, 29th Dec. 2010 as amended which read and I quote; AN ELECTION TRIBUNAL OR COURT SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE DECLARE ANY PERSON A WINNER AT AN ELECTION IN WHICH SUCH A PERSON HAS NOT FULLY PARTICIPATED IN ALL THE STAGES OF THE SAID ELECTION. The purpose and intent of the above section is to cure the anomalies raised by Supreme Court on its decision in the case of Amechi vs Omehia. So, Dr Willie Obiano will certainly be sworn in and become the Executive Governor of Anambra state pending when Tribunal decides the Consolidated case of Chris Ngige and Tony Nwoye on the contrary of Dr Willie Obiano returned as elected by INEC. Our law(s) does not take a retro-active effect as decided by Supreme court Court in the case of Anambra State House of Assembly led by Hon Mike Belonwu vs INEC and Anambra State Governor, where the House has gone to Court, and up to Supreme Court asking court to declare their inauguration illegal and of no effect, because according to them, the person that inaugurated them in 2003 who is Dr Chris Ngige was not suppose to be the governor and therefore lacks constitutional power to inaugurate the House, because he didnt win the election, and that their tenure suppose to start running together with Peter Obis tenure in 2006. But in deciding the case, the learned Justices of Supreme Court said that at the time of their inauguration in 2003, that Dr Chris Ngige was the defacto Governor of Anambra State, and that all the official governmental functions carried out by him are hereby PRESERVED including the inauguration of the Anambra State House of Assembly on June, 2003. Now linking the above Supreme Court decision to APGA case. As at the time Sir Victor Umeh nominated Dr Willie Obiano as the APGA governorship candidate, he was the defacto National Chairman of APGA and nothing stops Dr. Willie Obiano from becoming the APGA Candidate before the governorship election on the 16th of November, 2013. Dr. Willie Obiano name was published by INEC as the APGA candidate and no court gave order that Dr Willie Obianos name be removed. Dr Chike Obidigbos name was not published by INEC, and no court ordered that his name be published by INEC, let it be that INEC refused. On the other hand, Dr Chike Obidigbo subjected himself to APGA under Sir Victor Umeh when he purchased the #1m DECLARATION OF INTEREST FORM and #10m NOMINATION FORM from APGA under Sir Victor Umeh, he also subjected himself to Screening Committee of APGA led by Sir Victor Umeh, he was disqualified, he went to Appeal Screening Committee of APGA also led by Victor Umeh, the Appeal Screening Committee ratified the decision of the Screening Committee of APGA which has earlier disqualified him, and he (Obidigbo) never approached court of law to quashed his disqualification as unsuccessfully done by Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo. He never did it, what he does was to start romancing and hobnobbing with Maxi Okwu. From the above assertions, it is obvious that Dr Chike Obidigbo did not exhaust all the availabilities to run for APGA primary election and therefore he was and is not even qualified to run for APGA primary election let alone becoming the APGA governorship candidate. If he had gone to another political party, it would have been a different ball game. I urge Dr Chike Obidigbo to read in between the line so that he can withdraw all his court cases including his petition against Dr Willie Obiano, to enable him make peace with Dr Willie Obiano. Its high time he stop chasing shadow and engaging himself in a lost battle, fighting with his last kobo. His factory in Umunya has been closed down because he can no longer pay his staffs their salaries. Ejighi ego mkpata azo election, ma obu ije tribunal..kama na obu ego mbute ka eji eme ya. A case study to those milking and ill-advising Dr. Chike Obidigbo. Please digest these assertions and submissions
