Witness For Christ? If you are a witness for Christ e.g. minister, leader or just a lay-member, it is important to know that you are viewed via the same set of eyes as jurors see people on the witness stand. You can be testifying for either the plaintiff or defendant and they will either have negative, favorable or indifferent opinions regarding you as a witness. This is the same concept that is applied to people of God as witnesses. Each of us has what is called a system of thinking or values level. We operate from our core personality and the way you deliver your messages as a witness is by this core e.g. some are always happy or easy going, some are hardball because they feel people are NOT living up to the rules as they see it and they must be hard, some are verbally combative and so on… The key to remember is that your choice of scriptures used and message will be delivered in that tone. Regardless to what you may THINK you have in Christ, it is what type of witness you are by the people in front of you and how you are received. I believe people are in search of God whether they know it or not, it is just they don’t have favorable opinions about the witnesses for his message. What type of witness are you? Just my thoughts.
