Witnesses sought to Southside motor vehicle damage Between 7.30pm and 10pm last night (Thursday, 4 December), Police attended three separate reports of motor vehicle break-ins in Fullerton Street Richardson, Oddie Place Conder and Darcy Close in Gordon. Two vehicles had their windows smashed, while personal items stolen included a wallet, I-Pod, I-Pad, Christmas decorations, reading glasses and a bum bag. Police conducted thorough searches of a number of Southside areas throughout the evening but were unable to locate any persons or vehicles of interest in relation to the three incidents. These incidents are a reminder to motorists to ensure that no valuables left in their vehicle and that their vehicle is secure. If you can park your car away from the street, further down your driveway or behind gates, this also acts as a deterrent to opportunistic theives. Police urge anyone who may have witnessed any of these incidents or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the areas at the time of the incidents to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on act.crimestoppers.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
