Wives: Your husband will never become what God destined him to become without your involvement and support. When God said “the two shall become one” he really meant it. The day you said “I do” your destiny was merged together with your husband’s destiny. Your success was divinely linked to your husband’s success. Your dignity is derived from his honored name. Even in cases where God allows you to become more esteemed than your husband you’re still called by his name and “your desire shall be for your husband.” Genesis 3:16. Don’t shortchange yourself by working against your husband. A wife who plans and works for the failure of her husband is directly working for her own failure. You and husband are one. When he falls you fall together with him and when he rises you rise together with him. The power is in your hands to bless or break your man. Pray, fast and work for your husband’s success. “A good wife is her husbands pride and joy; but a wife who brings shame on her husband is like a cancer in his bones. (Proverbs 12:4)
