Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. (Colossians 3:18-19) There seem to be alot of condesending jokes these days about husbands always being wrong and wives wearing the pants in the family. Why is there such a double standard? How many people would be offended if a husband was making jokes about his wifes weight? Is this how you treat the one who you say you love? Women, where is the respect for your husbands? Men, where is the love for your wives? Men on TV these days are depicted as absolute baffoons who couldnt find their way out of a paper bag! Its called the destruction of the family unit! I can tell you that most family men are NOT Homer Simpson or Ray Romano! So ladies, if you want your husbands to love you and cherish you, treat him with respect and he will love you for it! Men, you need to step up and love your wives unconditionally like Jesus loves the church!! Obedience to Scripture is never easy but it brings blessings and keeps you out of divorce court!
