WoW #MyAfricaIndeed .. Yesterday I had an amazing time with a couple of masters students of Mozambique (who are carryn out a research in over 8countries zambia inclusive).. We managed to have dinner together at their camp site with their amazing lecturer who has lectured in over 38countries world wide..soo knowledgeable of a man and humble.. The students were 15 and at the dinner table outside offcourse, it felt soo beautiful warm and belonging.. The students were not familiar wt english but Portuguese however dispite this barrier we had an awesome tym as the lecturer kept on translating.. These masters students were soo young one being 19 of age and she explained how she had to start school at an early age of 4 soo that she could remove her family out of POVeRTY.. It was then that I realised that all Africans are at work..at work of being ahead and knowing how amazing we are..we are a team, a family... Forget what media says about us that we are hustle..that is to bring in confusion amongst us soo they can work on d principle Divide and conquer ... These students were soo amazing and humble and respected women..they served us and cared for us..their lecturer was soo amazing he actually cooked for all of us and we had that wonderful BOND.. As a historian it also made me realise how we are not far from our tradition and customs.. Prio to colonialism.. Africans lived in a communal setup.. We shared things and a friends father was your father and yesterday I felt that..we are a family no matter how far.. What will separate us is them that wana play on those with IGNORANCE.. But you and me can change that.. We can work and educate our friends and family and help us.. #4TheLoveOfAfrica .. We are a team
