Woe To Christians Who are Complacent... To You Who Feel Eternally Secured !--- Amos 6:1 This is what the Scripture says when Moses pleaded with the LORD to let him enter the promised land (the LORD had said to Moses he will not enter either--- Numbers 20:12). At that time I pleaded with the LORD: O Sovereign LORD, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do ? LET ME GO OVER AND SEE THE GOOD LAND BEYOND THE JORDAN--- THAT FINE HILL COUNTRY AND LEBANON. --- Deuteronomy 3:23-25 But because of you the LORD was angry with me and would not listen to me. THAT IS ENOUGH, the LORD said. DO NOT SPEAK TO ME ANYMORE ABOUT THE MATTER... --- Deuteronomy 3:26 Now then, consider the closeness of Moses to GOD Almighty so that the Scripture says the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend--- Exodus 33:11. But when he disobeyed the LORD--- Numbers 20:9-12; he also was forbidden to enter Canaan; whereas Moses continued to serve the LORD throughout his lifetime. Therefore think deeply about Moses case (Moses failed to enter Canaan, and you will not be entering heaven either because of your disobedience)--- so you may not become complacent and overjoyed now when it is not time yet as appropriated--- too confident you will make it when the LORD Jesus comes--- only to be dismayed to hear from the LORD say to you on that DAY, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers ! --- Matthew 7:21-23 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you--- Revelation 3:1-3
