Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites! You pay tithes of mint and anise and cummin and have neglected the weightier matters of the law; JUSTICE, MERCY, FAITH. THESE YOU HAVE NOT DONE WITHOUT LEAVING THE OTHER UNDONE. Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You cleanse the outside of the cup and dish but inside you are full of extortion and self indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish that the outside of them may be clean also. You are like white washed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly but inside are full of dead mens bones and all uncleanness. Even so you outwardly appear righteous to men, inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. You build tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous and say, if we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up the measure of your fathers guilt. SERPENTS, BROOD OF VIPERS! HOW CAN YOU ESCAPE THE CONDEMNATION OF HELL. COMMENTARY: Extortion is the act of obtaining especially money or other property by force, intimidation or undue legal power. The word literally means to twist or torture or wrench out. Anyone who uses the law of God to acquire money is not using the law for its intended purpose. Do not forget that the scripture informs you that when you hear the words, give and give, you are listening to a leech. The purpose of the scripture in informing you to take all you own and give it to the poor is because money is a useless tool in your defense in the battle of the spirit against the flesh. Scripture informs you that it is the rich who sue you and take you before the judge to exact the last penny from you in payment of debts. Further more the scripture clearly informs you of how difficult it will be for the rich man to enter the knowledge of the kingdom of heaven through the revelations of the Holy Spirit of God. The power which is born of the Holy Spirit cannot be bought nor sold like a commodity. To give a tithe from ones wealth is not generosity but a bribe and he who accepts a bribe brings judgment upon himself not to harm him but to profit him in faith. Faith is not belief but how one comes to believe.To believe something is to be FULLY ASSURED. Scripture informs you that faith is the evidence of things hoped for and the substance of things unseen. Those who speak to you not having seen are blind. They are as the scripture refers to them, BLIND GUIDES WHO STRAIN OUT GNATS ONLY TO SWALLOW A CAMEL. They fill you with words and obligations which are not helpful to you in coming to be known by God. They are not worth the money you give them which is why Jesus refers to them as thieves. They spend great deals of money to create an atmosphere of worship and godliness which is of no benefit in the battle of the spirit against the flesh. The scripture informs you to seek after mercy. Mercy is best described as a compassion of forbearance shown to an offender or to one subject to ones power. God is merciful to those who call upon His reputation by dying to the knowledge and ways of the world for the singular purpose of coming to the knowledge of the truth of the revelations of the unseen things which the spirit of God reveals to a man who diligently seeks these things. Jesus informed those who praised God with their lips but whose hearts are far from Him to seek Justice. The most simple definition of justice is a search for the truth. Jesus, a High Priest, in the order of Melchizedek the minister to Abraham of whom Jesus said, Before Abraham, I am. Jesus was the truth, life and way guiding men to the knowledge of the truth of the Holy Spirit who is the bringer of all truth for the things of heaven are not able to be communicated in words but by revelation of them by the spirit of God Himself. It is written, God will pour out His spirit on all flesh and your young men will have visions and your old men will dream dreams. God will do this in the full measure of time in which a man must endure all things that he may be given this truth and reason in the truth revealed to him. Be clear, it is not my idea but the words of scripture, He who is led by the knowledge of the spirit is a son of God. And Jesus, not I, tells you, ALL THESE THINGS I HAVE DONE YOU WILL DO AND EVEN GREATER THINGS. I bear witness that these words are true. Do not forget in the world of hypocrites and false Christs and prophets, the apostles themselves inform you. WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. As they are men just like you and God does not show partiality to men, it is the work of God to renew the knowledge in which your mind reasons that you too may be conformed to the image of His son for this is the work of God in which He takes great pleasure to give to you for this is the grace of God by which you are saved. Anyone else who tells you any differently is lying to you.
