Woke up feeling like Id been hit by a Mac truck, got a frantic phone call from a client on my cell at 7:15 am, spent the next 4 hours presenting to work professionals, came back to my office with two new referrals, two cases to write up, 25 employees to screen for hiring, and boatloads of emails to return. Now, Im at the doctor, who is telling me I need to take it easy and I have Strep. Really? Nope. Not cool. Not cool at all. I still have dinner, carpool, homework, laundry and life when I get home. Plus a work report to write at home tonight. So, ya, this is me complaining. And feeling overwhelmed. But at least understanding why I could not get out of bed yesterday morning. So maybe Im not as lazy as I thought. Thats one positive.
