Woke up this morning and for a whole minute I felt so happy as I felt my ever growing baby bump. I smiled as I wondered how many kicks this little footballer would give me today. And then I remembered. I have cancer. The shock hit me again, right in the pit of my stomach. And then I heard my sister come in through the front door. Thanks to the grant from Mummys Star my sister was able to take a day off work without loosing any money to look after my 3 year old daughter. This meant that I could rest as much as I liked knowing that my daughter was in safe hands. Ill be meeting another Mummy to be whos in the same situation as me this afternoon. I met her through the forum. It will be good to talk to her without my daughter being there. Tomorrow Mummys Star will be paying for my taxi to and from my chemotherapy session. My husband will be in work. I will need him at home for the days following chemotherapy when I feel so tired and sometimes have no energy to move. Gosh its all so complicated. Mummys Star cant help the problem go away but helping with the financial side of things is a big weight off our shoulders. Thank you to everyone who donates to Mummys Star for making this possible.
