Woke up this morning dragging like Ive been dragging the past few days ready to go get last minute Thanksgiving stuff. Kaleb looked at me and said my face looked funny. Looked in the mirror and I literally had red bags under my eyes. Ive been going to bed really early this week because Ive been exhausted but I blamed that on all the hours Ive been working. Then I realized my face was swollen too, I was short of breath and I felt pressure from my jaw to my eye. This tooth Ive been dealing with is infected and the infection is moving up into my eye. My dentist suggested I get it pulled 2 months ago but keeps rescheduling my appt. Today I said no maam got the number of an oral surgeon and went to Columbia Heights in the snow to see him. He told me I dont need my tooth pulled, showed me my X-ray and why my tooth is still infected after having a root canal. That heffa aint get rid of all the infected roots. So this mamba jama been sitting in there all this time. So he said he was going to do a very hard procedure that most cant do but since hes so good he does it so I can keep my pretty teeth 😏. Gave me a different antibiotic than the one that woman kept giving me and some pain killers and after resting a few hours I feel better and my face looks better. He said this tooth couldve killed me this weekend if I hadnt acted and ran to get help elsewhere. If something doesnt feel or seem right to you after your initial doctor treats you get another opinion. It may be life saving. I promise you God was working in my favor because that man didnt have to squeeze me in 45 minutes after I called and when I arrived he had a full room but he put me ahead of a scheduled patient. Wont He do it! 🙌🙌
