Woke up this morning, grabbed my coffee and started to read the news (facebook) I see things and read things on facebook before it ever hits the TV News. This morning the first thing in my news feed was this from my friend Christopher Bays. This is the real deal, you want find things like this on your local 6 oclock news though the world would be a nicer place if we did. I thought I would share it with you in hopes that it will touch you or someone else and get your day started out with an AMEN! like it did mine. @thechrisbays wrote: Heeeeyyyy facebook world! If you live your life trying to make everyone happy, the only person thats NOT going to be happy is YOU! Remember this...not everyone will be your cheerleader, and you will not win over every critic. People will always talk about you because theyre either jealous, just a negative person, or just enjoy making you look bad, but remember this...you do not need their approval. Its Gods approval that you need to seek. Everyone has an opinion. Theyll tell you what to wear, what to drive, how you should spend your money, how you should raise your kids, and the list goes on. If you always listen to the opinions of others I guarantee you, you will love a life of misery and confusion. Too many times people who try and tell you how to run your life cant even run their own, much less yours. Its fine to listen to opinions and receive advice, but you have to be secure enough in who God made you to be, so that when you hear those opinions that dont line up with the direction God has for you, you can be bold enough to say thank you, but thats not for me. Your life is too valuable to worry about pleasing those people. If you are going to do anything great....seek Gods approval.
