Woke up this morning to see that my dear, departed friend James Henry LeBatards birthday would have been today. He would have wanted us to smile thinking of him, so here goes........ First, a story/joke that he particularly loved to tell: A young nun rushes into the office of the Mother Superior at a small convent and announces in hushed tones, Mother Superior..... We have a case of syphilis here inside our walls! The Mother Superior looks up from her reading and says Thank Goodness. I was getting SOOOO tired of that Beaujolais....... And secondly, I cant let the day pass without this, which, to me, shall be forever asscoiated with him and our days at the Biloxi Episcopal Church of the Redeemer with Dr. Oden, and consequently James Hawkins at the organ. It seems like yesterday that I was singing Behold, Thy God among other cherished anthems and hymns with Jamie, as Laurence loved to call him......... :) youtu.be/ESEiJlseLWo
