Woke up to devastating news. My favorite student from my Life Skills class last year has passed away this morning. I dont think people understand how much working with those kids and having a chance to watch them grow and progress can change your life. Steven was such a heavenly soul, always so kind and so sweet, just a gentile giant. I can remember how excited he was for prom, running up to me in the ball room and insisting that I take a picture with him or any school function at that. Watching you walk across the stage at graduation with me, knowing that you were beyond ecstatic to finally be done with school. I will miss all of our gentile hugs and many hand shakes in class. But most importantly, I cannot thank God enough for giving me the opportunity of working with him. He has truly changed my life in more ways unimaginable 😔 RIP Steven Holland, a sweet heart taken too soon 👼
