Woke up to what I had hoped was just a nightmare this morning. Noah Bondurant has to play football for Gloucester High School football this year. There is no longer any other option at this point. Im not sure why GYFL made this decision. It makes me sad to leave a wonderful bunch of parents, coaches, and players, but maybe this will be for the best. Maybe GHS can finally get a winning team together, since all the players will be playing together from 9th on up. Hopefully they will have coaches that know how to coach at least half as well as Coach David Davidson, and these boys that have been playing for so long can do for themselves. I am believing for the best for all. I know everything happens for a reason, and when a door closes God opens a better one. Not only will this help these boys all learn to play as one team, but it will also give the younger boys more play time on the field with GYFL.
