Wollaston - 2 Lee Warman 2 Corby Pegasus - 2 This game your stereotypical game of 2 halves. The 1st half was as bad as we have played for a while, I honestly cant remember us stringing 3 passes together. But the character showed it the second half makes it hard to be annoyed with the boys! We went 1-0 down after the ref wrongly gave hand ball against Ben Mclaren and the away forward bent the free-kick into the top corner! It was an outrageous decision made worse by the fact Macca was 5 yards in the area. If he gives the handball he should of given a penalty! The ref got it wrong on all sides! We then had to make an early sub when Jason Crawley came off injured! Soon we were 2-0 down when Lee Johnstone handled on the line and got a straight red! The away team scored the resulting penalty! Half time 0-2 After a tactical reshuffle and a few choice words at half time the boys came out a different side! It was soon clear that we were still in this game and on the hour mark Warman met a great Daryl Wallinger corner to make the score 2-1! It was all Wollaston from then on and we pushed for the equaliser which came when Warman finished well from a Simon Anderson flick on! The away team should of had at least 1 sent off when Sam Sturman tried to bloke a shot made a poor tackle but no free kick was given! The guy got up and landed at least 2 or 3 punches on Sturman but only received a yellow. To make things worse Sturman got booked for being a human punch bag! We had so many chances in the second half we are disappointed with the draw...although if we were offered it at half time Im sure we would have taken it! All 3 subs, Daz McGee, Rudi Pipe and Simon Anderson came on and really affected the game and Anthony Brown was great in centre mid he never stopped running...MOM has to go to Lee Warman 2 goals as well as a great performance leading the line! Thanks to the lads that helped us out today as both sides were short! Up the Vics!!!
