Wollaston vics reserves 5 Bugbrooke 1 Its was a huge game for the lads as 3 points were desperately needed against a team beneath us in the table. We set out at a good tempo and the first goal came from a wonderful In-swinging corner from Danny Oneil which was met with supreme power by the beast at the back James draper. A great free kick from them got them back on level terms but we restored the lead when nath spriggs scored a free kick from the touch line all of 40 yards away. Great vision for that top corner. HT We knew we needed up get out of the blocks quick and the next goal was vital. A superb long throw by Danny O was spilled by the keeper and goal scoring legends like C9 Pipe dont need a second invitation. 3-1 The 4th goal was a great individual goal by addy Morgan who relentlessly hunted down the ball withstanding the urge foul. He knocked the ball away, turned, then unleashed a superb curling shot into the top right corner from outside the box. 4-1 The last goal was scored by skipper Dave wood who had the vision to deploy a lob wedge from outside the box and delightfully lob the keeper to a tremendous roar from the home crowd. It was a great result and there some brilliant performances from Danny O, lee Garratt first half saves, Danny Bayes, ad parsons but the MOM and beer went to James Draper! We need to take that into next weeks clash with Grampian and its important that we try and keep up the availability. WAWWWWWW
