Wollondilly Council Media Release Mayor VS Mayor On 4 December, we will be hosting an Xbox gaming event at Appin Park. The aim of the event is to promote our Youth Outreach Trailer and to engage in some friendly rivalry between Wollondilly and Campbelltown Councils. Everyone is invited, so come along and join the gaming challenge. Mayors Cr Benn Banasik – Wollondilly Shire and Cr Clinton Mead – Campbelltown and their teams will play each other in a Halo Reach exhibition match. Attendees can join in the fun by versing each other in the games that are available on the day after the exhibition match. The official start for the exhibition match is at 4pm however the trailer will be at Appin Park from 3pm. Attendees can have access to the gaming before or after the exhibition until 6pm. “This event is the first of three, with Campbelltown holding the next competition early next year and the final challenge to be held at Gametraders, Macarthur Square. We hope that this competition will provide some fun for those attending as they will have an opportunity to play after the exhibition match,” says Mayor, Cr Benn Banasik. The Wollondilly Youth Outreach trailer is available as a resource to youth services and other organisations that work with young people, to implement outreach programs to the Wollondilly Local Government Area. The trailer is fitted with LCD TVs, Xboxes, laptops, games and activities and carries up to date information on youth services and initiatives.
