Wolverhamptons Fairtrade shop is opening in temporary premises - TopicsExpress

Wolverhamptons Fairtrade shop is opening in temporary premises this weekend following a fire at its previous home. The shop, which offers the widest choice of Fairtrade goods in the city, will open five days a week from its temporary location at Salop Street. It sells Fairtrade tea, coffee, chocolate, cookies, honey, snacks and a range of fairly traded craft goods including jewellery and gifts. The shop also offers Fairtrade goods on a ‘sale or return’ basis to schools or groups which hold regular meetings or events. The temporary shop opens its doors at 10 Salop Street, adjacent to the Wolverhampton Indoor Market, at 9am on Saturday (10 May). Its opening hours will be Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The shops permanent home at Darlington Street Methodist Church was forced to close temporarily earlier this year following a fire at the church. It is hoped it will return to the church at some point in the future.
