Wolves will be without in-form winger James Henry for approximately three weeks due to the groin injury sustained at Notts County on Saturday. Henry, on loan from Millwall, is now undergoing treatment for the injury which has brought a temporary end to an excellent start at Molineux. The injury comes a week after Wolves took Michael Jacobs on loan from Derby, and the winger – while not eligible for the FA Cup – may now be handed an opportunity in the league. “James Henry has a groin injury and it looks like he will be ruled out for about three weeks,” said Head Coach Kenny Jackett. “We are sorry to lose James for a few weeks because he has been a very good player for us. “At least from his point of view he can look at the start he has made for us and say that he has something positive and has shown everyone what he can do. “He can now draw breath on the start he has had and when he does come back, try and build on that good start. “We brought in Michael Jacobs last week and that is the sort of scenario we are trying to cover here. “Particularly when the loan window closes next Thursday, we want to have a squad that can compete whatever happens. “We are in a campaign where we are hoping to do well and push for those top places and to do that you need a squad because injuries will happen.” Meanwhile young American strike Jack McBean is training with the squad for a couple of days. The 18-year-old frontman, under contract with LA Galaxy, could be the first of several players Wolves will take a look at as the Major League Soccer season comes to a close. “Jack is a young American lad who is an 18-year-old centre forward with LA Galaxy,” added Jackett. “As the MLS season draws to a close we may do that with a few other players as well where we can have a look whether it be players potentially for the first team or the development group. “We feel the MLS is a very good league and several exciting players from there have gone on to the Premier League. “If we can have a look at some of the younger players there it might be something to benefit us in the future. “Jack is here training for a few days and we will see how he fits in and whether he is one to look at in the future.” A more familiar face back at Compton this morning was keeper Wayne Hennessey, following his successful loan spell with Yeovil and another international appearance for Wales against Finland on Saturday. Hennessey isn’t eligible for tomorrow’s replay with Oldham due to not being at Wolves when the initial tie was played.
