Woman Pleads Guilty to Child Neglect & Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine Coquille, Oregon June 30th, 2014 Danielle Kelley was sentenced to 60 days in custody after a negotiated plea. In May of 2013 SCINT detectives received a report that drug transactions were being conducted from a residence on Union Street in North Bend, Oregon with a child present. Assisted by North Bend Police and Coos County Parole and Probation, a SCINT detective made contact with the residence and arrested Richard Aaron Luck on an outstanding felony arrest warrant. Through interviews it was determined both Kelley and Luck exercised control over the room and items within, which included Sentry Safe. A search of the room produced methamphetamine paraphernalia to include: clean bindles for packaging methamphetamine, methamphetamine smoking devices and used methamphetamine packaging. Further searching of the room evidenced a four year old child having ready access to the paraphernalia. A search warrant was obtained for a safe found in the room. Additional methamphetamine paraphernalia was found as well as the evidence proving sale and delivery of methamphetamine. This evidence included digital scales with residue, $1600, over 22 grams of methamphetamine Kelley plead guilty to one count of Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and one count of Child Neglect in the First Degree. Pursuant to Oregon Sentencing Guidelines, Kelley was sentenced to a total of sixty days in custody; followed by twenty-four months probation.
