Woman of God....when life comes at you fast...are you really trusting God the way you should? Its so easy to try & take the wheel from Him...to try to force Him to do things our way. But you can be sure doing this will land you in an emotional & spiritual ditch. I would prefer to sit in the passenger seat & let God drive my life instead... wouldnt you? Are you really trusting Him with your journey? Can you envision the woman who is trying to steal the wheel from her husband? Imagine the words coming out of her mouth...I imagine they arent very kind or edifying...they might even be just plain ugly! Shes probably being loud... obnoxious...& bossy. Right? Now envision a woman who is riding as a passenger who totally trusts her driver...who is resting in the assuredness of where he would take her...I imagine her heart is at peace & her words are sweet! She is relaxed & she doesn’t feel threatened...she is kind.... just chatting away with her husband! When you’re trying to steal the wheel from God...your communication with Him will be hindered.... your words of praise will be replaced by complaining... your praise will be ruined by criticism. I challenge you to let God take the wheel...I know this can be hard...especially when life is tough & you’re uncertain where the road may lead. But...moment by moment...if you truly choose to trust Him...you’ll find peace..rest...joy... contentment...praise & love filling you up...like a cold drink of water on a hot day! Could there be anything better? Trust in the LORD with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, & He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5&6.
