Womankind Worldwide are looking for a new Policy and Research volunteer: The volunteer will support the Policy & Advocacy Manager to develop and implement a new project focusing on international policy frameworks for women’s rights. This role will be ideal for someone wishing to gain experience in the charity sector, specifically policy or research, and for someone with an interest in UK and international advocacy on women’s rights and international development. The role will include: Supporting the production and promotion of a policy report on major international women’s rights frameworks (Beijing +20, Post-2015 and Women, Peace & Security) Assisting in preparations for UK and international women’s rights advocacy events (including CSW 59) Contributing to the production of external policy-related communications eg. blogs, articles and social media Closing date: 9am, 24th November 2014
