Women Warrior Wednesday! Today we are saluting Capt. Aston Armstrong and Second Lt. Anne Lee of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team,1st Cavalry Division and 3rd Brigade’s 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, respectfully. Both women are also graduates of West Point - The U.S. Military Academy Fort Benning’s Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade selected 31 women who began training to serve as observer/controllers for the potential course assessment in the spring. The standards of the school will not be lowered for women during the assessment, and the class will include male soldiers as well, United States Army officials said. #shinebright #trailblazers #ranger #airborne #hooah
