Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars...or at least thats how the saying goes. Tonight the W.E (womens empowerment) gang met OSU-Mansfields Assistant Dean, the brilliant and delightful Dr. Terry Fisher, to discuss gender differences. Terry challenged the ladies to recognize stereotypes often associated with women and men. The ladies were asked a series of questions and then had to choose which gender they felt the stereotype pertained to. The results were very surprising and eye-opening, prompting very responsive conversation. Ultimately, the ladies learned that in the bigger picture, despite gender, we are human beings who have our own distinct differences. Talk about true empowerment! Afterwards, Terry introduced the ladies to OSU-Mansfields Cyber Café where they enjoyed delicious smoothies and continued conversing. Thank you Terri for empowering and inspiring!!
