Women try to fix their husbands by being more romantic, getting - TopicsExpress

Women try to fix their husbands by being more romantic, getting them gifts, spoiling them and then slowly, they slip into an ocean of resentment when the favours are not returned. Soon they realize marriage is not what they expected it to be and perhaps would not have even got married if they knew what they know now, they might not consider a marriage. They look at old pictures, initial emails and wonder what battered the honeymoon excitement? How the qualities which first attracted the couple to each other did, become the cause of their arguments and disappointments? Ladies, the only thing I can console you with, is the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), narrated by Anas bin Malik (r.a), “Marriage is half of Deen [ranked hasan by Shaykh Albaanee in Saheeh at Targheeb]. The amount of trials one faces in her marriage reflects the level of struggle she is enduring to maintain her Deen (faith). If a wife believes, she is having problems with her marriage, she will find blame for her husband and fail: he does not love me enough, he is not committed to the marriage enough etc. However, wives can find creative solutions for their marriage if they see their relationship in a new light - this is not a marriage problem but an exertion that I must make for my Deen. Looking at marriage as an act of worship to Allah and a means of getting reward from Allah, will encourage wives to feel less discontented with their husbands. In fact, it will remove their focus from blaming and fixing their husbands to being near and pleasing to Allah. Withstanding, wives can still express themselves if anything is hurting them in the marriage, in a way that isnt insulting to the husbands. Still, the ultimate aim of marriage remains to fulfill the requirements of Deen. This is easier said than done! Yet this is the stepping stone to Paradise. 🌹🌾🌹🌾🌹🌾
