Womens Golf Finishes Season With Dual Match By Justine Gaskamp Winfield, Kan. — The OPSU womens golf team competed in their final tournament of the season Friday as they played a dual-match with Southwestern College at the Quail Ridge Golf Course in Winfield, Kan. The women played one 18-hole round on the 5,442-yard 72-par course with five players competing for each team. Chelsea Montano brought in the lowest score for the Aggie women shooting an 83 and was closely followed by Taylor Coffman and Ashley Ogle who brought in an 86 and 89 respectively. Abigail Ferguson marked a 90 and Samantha McCay finished with a 116. Southwesterns women brought in the lowest team score with a 321, while OPSU shot 348 as a team. Once again, the Aggie womens golf team and OPSU would like to thank Coach Roger McKinnon for his service and support of Aggie golf. Coach McKinnon will retire from coaching after this season, but plans to stay involved with Aggie athletics.
