Womens Week Day 6 Firstly, thanks to all of you who came along to one or more of the events held for you this week as part of women’s week here at WarwickSquash! I hope you all agree that they were awesome! Thanks to Katie and all the other exec who helped to plan and run these events this week. We would love to hear your feedback which you can submit anonymously here: sayat.me/warwicksquash Ladies Team Retrials – 1st November Calling all competitive female Squash players! The next important point is Ladies Midterm team retrials. Due to the difficulty we had this year of arranging comprehensive ladies trials at the start of the term we feel we may have missed a few good players! Hence would like to have a retrial for the team and squad ASAP! Although we suspect nothing will change too much, we feel it’s fair to give those ladies who either couldn’t make it in week 1, or who have just improved massively over the last few weeks, a shot at the team. This will obviously require re-trialing ALL the ladies (including team!) and re-ranking the team and squad based on this retrial. Although Katie did a great job during manic Freshers’ Week, this time we will be pulling in some assistance from two experienced coaching exec to help streamline the process. So if you are currently not in the ladies team and would like a go a trying out for the team or if you feel you would like another try then please attend the Ladies midterm retrials on Saturday 1st November. To decide on the best time to do this during the day here is a Doodle poll which you can all fill in: doodle/6s5iff9mr4kc229g We will make the trials as efficient as possible so you shouldn’t need to be there for more than a few hours. But with another 7 ladies team games left this year it’s going to be worth your time trying out! If you really can’t make it then let us know ASAP and we will try and sort something out for you.
