Women’s reproductive rights, are of no concern to the Republican/Tea Party dominated state legislatures and for the Republican/Tea Party Governors of those states. It seems that the ruling of the Supreme Court on Roe V Wade is of little consequence also. A majority of men and a handful of women who consider vaginas government owned and operated have decided that their interpretation of Christianity usurps any direction, indication or purpose of the US Constitution. A woman is a stupid, ill equipped, participant in any decision regarding her body. In Texas, Ohio and North Carolina, women have been treated as minorities, like the Blacks, and the Gays and have been told freedom is not yours to choose it is ours (the Legislature) to bestow, belittle or just blow off. What we do is for God and only we (the Republican/Tea Party led Legislature understand that Jesus wrote the original Constitution and certainly was not inclusive when doing so. And on the day before the 4th, when we are to hold the Flag up high, decorate our homes and bodies in red, white and blue, reflect upon the sacrifices many have made for this nation, we witness fair, honest, equal and freedom being restrictive, recoiled, and recalled. Equal pay for equal work, what an American idea, but it is too ideal for the Republican/Tea Party elected politicians. Women are just women, not men, they do have a purpose and that is to silently remain subservient cater to the real needs of the male species and to appreciate all their husbands have done for them. Women who speak too loudly are truly an annoyance an anathema albatross around the necks of men who deserve more, should receive most and are the better formed to be in charge. Women are after all created from Adam’s rib, the Founding Father’s knew this because any Constitutional scholar will remind you none of the females had voting, property or civil rights. Women are never satisfied, too demanding and expect to be treated, well, um, like men. The same Christian loving Republican/Tea Party politicians and pundents will remind us that there is a place for women and it never in front of a man. And on the day we celebrate justice and liberty for all, all we find is an asterisk placed in the Constitution stating all except women. At first I thought I got it, the reasons why people hate. At first I thought not everyone knows a Black person or a Gay so it was easier to become biased and bigoted. At first I believed that many who hate felt free to do so because blindly, religiously dogmatically they thought no one they would ever know, or even like was of color or Gay. I disagreed with the Racists and Homophobes but needed to wrap my brain around SOME THING. So following my theory about not knowing someone other then those like yourself I tried to consider why so many men and a handful of women either hate women or themselves? But, shit, everyone knows a female for most she was the first person you relied on. So why the Misogyny? Then I figured like all else that is hated, it must have to do with irrational fear and at the worst religious bigotry based on nothing else but lies fiction and fabrication. Kind of sick when God is used as the scapegoat for your own inadequacies. We are celebrating the 4th of July and what kind of laws do we garner from people who identify themselves as Patriots, repressive, second class, punitive machinations that speak little of this great nation but the smallness of people who know no better then to divide, exclude and prefer their Bible over the Constitution of the land. If you are not afraid of these Americans you are stupid. If you are angry at these Americans then you are in denial. If you don’t raise your voices in opposition to these Americans you are a fool. The Republican/Tea Party clan no longer need to wear white robes to destroy freedoms, but they still clutch a Bible and a burning cross to make sure anyone unlike them is not free. Happy 4th of July!
