As Mirchi managed to do very good business during what one calls a ‘dull period’, it has proven the craze that Prabhas has. It is a known fact that Rajamouli has cast Prabhas as the leading man in hisperiod drama Bahubali. It is also known that the movie is being made with a budget of more than Rs 70 crores. To invest such huge monies, the producers need to be assured of positive enthusiasm from the buyers. Mirchi’s success and the presence of Rajamouli has upped the value of Bahubali. Though Rajamouli is not yetready to make any business decisions regarding the film, he is happy with the buzz the movie has created among the buyers. Another reason for his happiness is the lack of constraint on budget. Now,he can make the film the way he wants to with all the elements he wishes to incorporate. So, Mirchi’s success did help the business of Bahubali. Had the film flopped or if it did average business, it would have surely affected the prospects of Bahubali.
