Wondered when they would do this... Parents need to be aware, the federal school lunch programs are not interested in feeding your children healthy food. When I was teaching, I noticed that things like condiments, for example tarter sauce packets for fish sticks, had expired freshness dates of at least 1-2 years and yet they were serving them to children. My own children have milk allergies, and even all those years ago when my kids were in grade school, the school refused to let them have juice instead of milk without a doctors note.
