Wonderful membership meeting tonight! Thanks so much for everyones attendance and continued support! For the news I spoke of earlier....the Top of Ohio Pet Shelter has teamed with the Dog Connection from Columbus. On May 13th they will be bringing their mobile spay/neuter van to the shelter and doing 30 spay/neuters. They are giving us a minimum of $400.00 discount, will apply for grants to assist with the remainder, and will be bringing up free dog food. We are taking 2 dogs a week to SOS and 28 dogs to SOS on Tuesday. It will put our spay/neuter at 85% at the shelter. We will continue to take 2 per week until its 100%. This will open up Pet Smart grants and the pet wagon which takes several dogs a month. Also, our new volunteer coordinator has been in touch with reputable rescues. The two beautiful Golden Retrievers went to rescue today. We are achieving goals of the shelter and the requests of many of our supporters. We would not survive without the support of our community and we thank you so much for everything! Thanks to each of you...pat yourselves on the back!
