Wonderful reading tonight: I thought I got the clients mom, but I got her grandma instead. I shared with her the images she showed me of the two of them when the client was a little girl. Then I asked for her mom. Dark hair? Yes. We had the right mom. She was different from the grandma. Late Mom started to play charades. Now, I have had people on the Other Side use sign language to communicate (I dont know much ASL) and I have had them talk to me in languages I do not speak. I know, right? But this lady showed me charades. So that was kind of fun. And then she went on to some Vaudeville-looking stuff, but none of it resonated with the client. Finally, the client said, Come on, Mom, just give me a simple message! Immediately, I saw her mom standing still, just as I had seen her at first, in a flowered purple dress with her dark hair. She said, I love you and she was holding a single white candle. The client said, Oh, thank you. The white candle is a Catholic thing, she was very Catholic. Thats just what I needed.
