Wonderful talk tonight at the Hellenic Community Center by Zeese on "Louis Tikas and the Ludlow Massacre"...I regret not being able to join Zeese and 1000 other Union members, historians and Greeks who will be at Ludlow to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the beginning of the tragic strike that crippled the Union movement and resulted in the deaths of almost 200 people across the Colorado coal fields the following spring. My father was about the age that my son is now when all this transpired, and was turned away from Ludlow by Louis Tikas on his way to Ludlow as a an unknowing scab.
