Wondering if anyone can give us some advice or suggestions? Our dilemma is: when we purchased one of our does a couple years ago, we were told she was NOT pregnant...a couple months after bringing her home, she delivered a single doeling. We have been wanting to register the offspring, but when we try to do it online using unknown sire, we get an error msg stating we need a service memo from the previous owner. Problem is we have been unable to make contact with the previous owner & I also tried searching for the previous owner on ADGA site & nothing comes up, so we are thinking they no longer have goats or are no longer ADGA members. If we insist on getting her registered, are we forced to start with recording her as grade & then build up to American registration with ea generation? Her dam (the pregnant doe we orig purchased) is registered American.
