Wondering if anyone has any really cool traditions or activities for New Years? Ive done the whole Times Square thing, gotten together in groups to make vision boards, goal set, etc....and thats always awesome. Ive also done parties where we do a white elephant with our least favorite holiday gift. :) But Im not much of the bar going type. Wanting to do something different with a group tonight...and were all a bit stuck beyond the above (or making a great dinner and watching a movie). Anyone have any cool traditions they can share? I just found out about this, which I thought was cool...But would love to hear more: 12 Grapes for Good Luck: This was originally a Spanish tradition that spread to Costa Rica (along with Mexico, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Colombia). It’s a pretty easy custom to follow – you just eat one grape for each month of the year at midnight. The clock will strike 12 times and you eat a grape with each beat. That’s it.
