Wondering if anyone has experienced miss fires like this... I had a few corp. head shots yesterday and for whatever reason, it seemed like my strobe was working only when it wanted to.... AB800, triggered with Phottix Odin transmitter and receiver.... I was approx. 2ft. away from the strobe and in direct line of sight... All batteries charged and fresh and all of the lights were on green ready... At first I had the strobe on its Vagabond mini, but when I was experiencing the misfires I plugged it into the wall... Still misfiring.... This is the first time Ive had this issue in the 6 months of having this setup, and I was wondering if the cold air might of had something to do with it?? I had my strobe in its bag in the car over night because it was an early morning on location shoot, where it was approx. 30 degrees... I shoot with a Nikon D800 and my settings were 1/200 f/5.6 ISO 400.... And the strobe was on low power... Any insight would be greatly appreciated.... (The random images around the room are me testing it) I managed to get the measly 3 images they were asking for, but not without a lot of frustration....
