Wondering where has the time gone? Seems like yesterday Ethan was just born and now he is such a big boy. Here I am half way through another pregnancy with an amazing story to tell about how this child came about. Maybe not at first but certainly in the end. Shadie Salazar... doing amazing this year in school. Report card came out today and she is making all As. Following Abby Chapa and Joey Chapa foot steps when it comes to school. All three so grown up in their own way. Im more than proud of them. They give me the reassurance that im doing something right. To be here for my kids EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, thats what parenting is about. How quickly the time has gone, thats what life is about. Its about grasping as much as you can while you still can because one day youll look back and wonder where it all went. I can get lost in the struggle of being a single parent sometimes because its NOT EASY. But Id rather be a single parent than NO PARENT at all. At the end of the day or when my life is coming to an end I will be able to look back and remember I was a part of something great! Wonderful! Things I can be proud of. Wishing I had more time with my loved ones JUST BE CAUSE I LOVE THEM, not because I screwed up and need to make things right. Thats ME and MINE.
