Wood County Hospital Wood County Hospital will be participating in the "Look Good...Feel Better" American Cancer Society sponsored program on Thursday, September 26th from 6-8PM. Guided by a volunteer cosmetologist, female cancer patients who participate in this class learn how to use make-up and skincare techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Look Good...Feel Better is offered through a partnership of the American Cancer Society; the Cosmetic, personal Care Products Council Foundation; and the National Cosmetology Association. Classes and materials are provided free of charge to women in active cancer treatment. To ensure women recieve a makeup kit, they must register no later than Friday, September 20th by calling 888-227-6446 or online at woodcountyhospital.org/classes/details.dT/look-goodfeel-better0001000/713.
