Woodstown High School Bulletin for Tuesday November 25, 2014 “Celebrating 100 Years of Pride, Tradition, & Excellence; Once a Wolverine, Always a Wolverine” WHS Powder Puff: Thank you to everyone that helped out last night with the Powder Puff Game! Congratulations to the Class of 2015 for a clean sweep on both the cheerleading and the football game. It takes a village to pull these things off and last night was another great example of why our kids love the faculty and WHS. A special thank you to our Class Advisors, and to Melissa Cifaloglio and Julie Knight for their continued hard work and dedication to WHS making sure these events are a success for our kids. WHS FBLA: The Woodstown FBLA is selling coffee bags and k-cups in many different flavors that will also feature the Woodstown logo on them. Please see any FBLA member or Mrs. Levitsky in room 205. Orders are due December 1st and will be in for the holidays, coffee always makes a great gift! Academic League: Please congratulate the Academic Team on their victory over the Vo-Tech Academy. WHS Football: Congratulations to the following student athletes: Victor Studioso on being honored at the Brooks-Irvine Memorial Football Club of South Jersey after being selected to receive the Unsung Hero Award. Keith Johnson on being honored after he was selected to the Touchdown Club’s All Academic Team and as a Scholar Athlete of the Week at the Brooks-Irvine Memorial Football Club Luncheon on Monday. Brandon Bedilion on being honored after he was selected to the Touchdown Club’s All Academic team Project Graduation: The Project Graduation Club is selling “Class of” apparel and merchandise including blankets, drawstring bags, stadium seats, hoodies, t-shirts, and jerseys. Orders are due by December 1st to Meghan Taylor in room 212 of the high school. Orders will be received by Christmas and make awesome holiday gifts. The items are available with the years 2015, 16, 17, and 18. Please see the merchandise flyer and order form with more information on our website. The proceeds from this fundraiser support the WHS Seniors. WHS Coat Drive: The Future Educators of America and Environmental Clubs at WHS will be collecting new or gently used coats, scarfs, gloves and hats of any size to be donated locally. Donations can be brought to the Woodstown High School Main Office during school hours through December 15th. WHS Turkey Drive: The Turkey Drive will run until Wednesday, November 26th. The outpouring of generosity has been overwhelming! We received (between canned goods and turkeys) over 600 items today!!! Many, many thanks to all of you! I will send people around to collect any cans that were not picked up. Again your generosity will give 10 families a delicious Thanksgiving and feed so many more at the Disciples Pantry in Woodstown. Thank you!
