Wooten Insurance would like to congratulate the Honor Band recipients. Middle and High School Students Earn Honor Band Recognition Several students representing Allen County-Scottsville High School and the James E. Bazzell Middle School earned special recognition this past Saturday at the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Third District Honors Band tryouts in Bowling Green. Achieving Ninth/Tenth Grade Honor Band were John Todd Davis (first chair tuba), Hannah Vinson (third chair French horn), Maddie Jones (ninth chair flute) and Madeline Payne (14th chair clarinet). Earning Seventh/Eighth Grade Honor Band was Taylor Stamps (third chair oboe). Students chosen as possible alternates for Ninth/Tenth Grade Band were Jessie Sue Pruitt (French Horn), Isaiah Burciaga (trumpet), Codi Robertson (euphonium), Eli Crone (tuba) and Caleb Darley (percussion). Selected as a possible alternative for Seventh/Eighth Grade Band was Gabby Veron (French horn) The KMEA Third District Honors Bands are comprised of students from approximately 50 schools in south-central Kentucky. provide by Don Meador
