Word For Today! In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. (John 5 vs 3,4). Todays Scripture outlines the pattern of miracles that existed at the Pool of Bethesda. Every person at that pool waited for the movement of the water by an angel who came at a certain season. So, the only way for one to receive a miracle at Bethesda was to wait for an angel to show up and stir the water. It seemed that for the multitude of blind, sick and impotent folk at Bethesda, there was only one way to get healed. Notice that when Jesus showed up, He by-passed what they felt was the only way and healed the sick man at the Pool. Jesus didnt bother troubling the water, but He gave complete healing to the man who was sick for thirty eight years. Jesus brought healing through another way. Friends, there may be certain ways which now seem like the only way, but God says, there is another way. Whatsoever you are seeing right now is not the only way. Medical science is not the only way for you to be healed. Your source of income is the only way for your sustenance. Those that walked away from your life and thought they were the only way(s) to your promotion are liars! Get ready! God will bring you more options you never imagined or asked for. God will grant you many more uncommon opportunities you never envisaged and open doors you never even knew of. Remember, no man has your destiny in his palms, and no option is final if God is involved. Keep your eyes on God, and He will give you another way!
