Word (a bit long but read it please, up at 3:30 am to share this) - Seeing that the Lord has been waking me every night around this time since the Holy Convocation last week at the Word of God Ministries, I sense at this time to share Word and Insight concerning some of the things pressing in my spirit!! (1.) Mental and Emotional Wellness and Faith! For years weve been told Just Believe! You Dont Need This Or That, Just Trust the Lord - You Dont Need Medicine, Counseling, Debriefing, Mental Breaks - All You Need Is Jesus! Theres NO Balance in this type of Teaching/Preaching for Jesus is the Master Therapist... He didnt deal with What People Did - He Dealt With Why/The Root/The Point of The Problem verses the Manifestation of The Problem.. Allow me to for example you in a few Text - In Mark 9 - Jesus is transfigured on the mountain side, comes down, to find the church arguing with religious nuts over nothing - the crowd sees Jesus, a man comes from the crowd, states to Jesus, I brought my child to you, you werent here, so I asked your church to help US and they couldnt, stating that my son has a Dumb/Epileptic spirit that locks everything up in him, it throws him in the fire and in the water We cant do anything about it - Listen - Jesus ask, how long ago have these events been happening -father replies since back in his childhood - Hum What he is doing Now was triggered by something in his past! Lazarus Dies, in John 11, Jesus says to Mary/Martha show me where you laid Him (take me to the place where you gave up, quit, gave the benediction) their reply - Lord Come See! They didnt quit in their present, they quit for days/months/years ago and Jesus is willing to walk back with them in order to wake up the thing they needed and that which would bring him glory.. I could go on and on - Last one - I Kings 18-19 Chap. Elijah just whooped all of the false prophets of Jezebel, major victory in God - right after that Elijah (the Man of God) runs and hides under a tree, telling the Lord to take his life, feeling like he was the only one going through what he was going through - God has to minister to him OUT Of His DEPRESSION!!! Our Salvation is Complete Spirit, Soul (Mind, Will, Emotion, and Passions), and Body - Robin Williams - One of the funniest, kindest human beings - made some many laugh while inside he was crying, battling with Depression, took his life! This is why at nearly 50 years old, Im going back to school - we dont have enough Mental Health Ministry in our Community - though many of us have server Mental Health Needs and Issues - Mental Health and Faith does go together... Your mind can only handle so much before Mental Overload Kicks... I trust the Lord,with all that I am, and I seek counsel to aid me in processing my life and the madness it brings...Faith without works is dead, and can lead to physical death if we dont use what God permitted Man to be able to do - I have much more to say...but for now - I pray your peace FB Family - cover one another..
