Word for Today ~ “THAT YOU MAY KNOW HIM” Philippians 3:10-12, “ That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” The Lord wants me to tell you that it is time for you to spend quality time with him. He said you are so busy working for him that you have little time to spend with him. He wants you to take a step back, breath, and listen to him. He hears your prayers but you have not taken the time to listen to his response. There must be time set apart in which you turn aside to spend quality time with Jesus. I recommend you set apart 30 minutes a day to meditate, pray, and listen to Jesus speak to you. The devil will do all that he can to hinder you and keep you busy focusing on the cares of this world. Therefore, you must crucify the self-centered desires of your heart and seek the Lord and spend time with him. It is time for you to become serious about spiritual things. As you do this, God will draw you close to him and supply all of your needs. You will begin to lay hands on the sick and they will recover. You will cast out devils and they will flee. You will truly see the Kingdom of God at hand. Bishop D.
