Word for the day--Juxtaposition: Day before yesterday in Salt Lake City, Sean Kendal received a call from animal control, telling him that the police had shot his dog in the head. So he rushed home, video recorded his interaction with the LEOs who remained on scene. dailycaller/2014/06/26/pissed-off-man-confronts-police-after-they-shot-his-dog-video/ They sure seem sorry, even a bit shamed. But theyre still standing there pretending to themselves, right in front of God and everybody, that the officer, who entered the property without a warrant or, likely, any evidence that would cause a *reasonable* person any suspicion at all, had to shoot this dog in the head inside his fenced yard cause they were looking for a missing child in the neighborhood. They left the dog for Sean to find, too. Ehfin bastards! No respect, no compassion.... its like they dont think were fully human. And this is a affluent, well spoken white guy! I hate to say it, but Im afraid its the truth. The only way were going to turn this thing around without rampant violence, if at all, is when they start messing with affluent white people some more. {people suck. I need to find a pack of dogs who will have me} Now, I recognize that these are two different PDs in different parts of the continent and made up of different individuals. But the cops across the river shot a friend of mines dog a few years back. Not sure about the justifiability of the shooting itself, but did they have to leave a damned paint outline in the road to remind him and his wife and kids and the rest of the neighborhood every day till it faded away? Meanwhile, in another universe not so far away at all, Curtis Pritchett tried to defend himself from Rex, the Charleroi Regional Police Department drug dog when it had been turned loose on him twice while he was bound hand and foot. Hes facing charges for assault on a sworn officer and illegally harassing a police dog. I still want to know how they teach these dogs to speak so as to swear an oath. This is the disparity that needs to be addressed. Maybe some peace with police tactics are in order? I dunno. Im open to suggestion.
