Word for us Today: Never walk in a negative confession like, I - TopicsExpress

Word for us Today: Never walk in a negative confession like, I am weak or I am poor! Instead, model the exact opposite, and base your reasoning on Scripture. It may sound & even feel wrong, because you may feel weak and be poor. Yet, the Bible declares to we people of FAITH, Let the weak say, I AM STRONG, and Let the poor say, I AM RICH. Listen, Bishop Tudor Bismark interprets this positive confession as follows: I AM represents the name of God. God calls Himself I AM in (Exodus 3:14)! From this, Bismark asserts that when we use Gods name, I AM, it is a memorial to all generations. Therefore, the Bishop infers that the power of I AM works as a principle this way: Whenever the universe hears the name I AM, whatever follows I AM comes looking for you. In weakness, to say, I AM strong aligns all Gods divine strength around you. In poverty, to say, I AM rich calls all the forces of enrichment to come looking for the faithful who herald that positive confession, and who join God in obedience to receive His choice provisions for our lives. The Bishop may be stretching it a tad bit here, but I love the thought he calls us to consider. From his thought, I can assure that we can shout from the rough tops with Scripture, I AM the first and not the last, cause God is First and allows us to be. I AM the head and not the tail, cause God is the Head and allows us to be. I AM the lender and not the borrower, cause God definitely is the Lender and, as His people, we are too. I AM THAT I AM, has spoken, and by His almighty grace, we can declare, I am blessed and highly favored among men!
