Word from Pauline Nordin... If you want to be tight and toned, you have to lift serious weight - so get off that treadmill and stop those endless body weight squats or crazy functional workouts.... Focus on the fundamental movements such as deadlifts, pull ups, squats, lunges, push ups and bench press - Building a good muscular base, (injury free) takes time - yes! for a newbie Give at least 1.5-2 years of consistent training and good nutrition before venturing into more advanced training methods... So start now!! :)
