Word of God to ponder and to consider in our lives The child of God is very much welcome in the home in spites of what he has done.5.24.14 Intro: God always wanted His child to be at home. Acts 2:42-47; Hebrew 10:24-25 A child of God always desired to be at home in spites of many resistance, reasons and justifications. God has no reason received not to be in the Church, for he require it for our good and benefit but only sickness and emergencies of life. The pastor is always happy to see the people coming to the church, especially all the members of the church, even though they were came from a long journey of life. Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my fathers have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. The child of God is very much welcome in the home in spites of what he has done. But the child of God must bear it well in his or her mind and understand these things. Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 1.But he/she need to understanding of what he has done of leaving home, leaving the father and his brothers and sisters.v.13-15 Leaving home is like a child without a parents. leaving home is like a sheep without a pastor and sheepfold. Leaving home is like living in the world. Leaving home is like a prodigal son or daughter, leaving with his/her own eyes and judgment. Leaving home is leaving the advice of the father, the pastor and in the dangers and devours of the devil. 2.He must realized the poverty , difficulty and disaster of leaving home. v.16-17 3.He realized the benefits of having home and a father and brother who giveth instruction and advice. v.16-17 4.He must repent of his/her sins and humbled himself/herself and make a new life.v.18 5.He must decide and arise to come back to his/her home without thinking of his/her right with humility. v.8,9 6.He must deny himself/herself and very much willing to accept what the father desired for him/her.v.19,20 The results of his/her genuine humility and humility. He is very much willing to do all things as what the servants deed, to serve and do what the father told him/her to do. But because he is genuine child, he/she is very much welcome in the home. The father desire to restore what he had lost and celebrate for this child was lost but comeback, was dead but now alive. The true child of God is very much welcome in the home and he/she not to be fear but be willing to arise and to deny himself for what he/she done. God is the God of 2nd change. The home is the place to mold and to shape our character, attitudes and actions according to what God pleases. The church is our spiritual home and the pastor is the father who rule and lead the home. We must be willing to obey and submit ourselves to him who God choose and provide for the good and benefits of the home/church for God’s glory.Eph.4:12-16; Hebrew 13:7,17 Eph. 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Heb. 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Heb. 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Conclusion: The Father is happy to see again of his child, in spites sometime his brother and sister are not so happy, because of their focused is in themselves not in the good and happiness of the home. Phil.2:3-4 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let us learn to listen carefully, humble ourselves before God, surrender, obey and apply the Word of God diligently in our lives and for sure God will make you happy and blessed. _Ptr.NBC Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
