Word of the Day - Blessings. Are you blessed? To answer that, you have to understand what a blessing is. Is a blessing getting a thousand dollars? Possibly. Is a blessing living in a million dollar home? Could be. But, if you really look deeply into it, a blessing is not something we own. Its something that is given to us, and then given away to someone else. Consider KenCo News recent blessing. On of our staff members was blessed by God to have artistic skills. He took that blessing and created a painting of a superhero for a local boy who had survived cancer. He passed that painting along to that young man. Someday, that young man will pass that blessing along to another. You see, a true blessing is not judged by the monetary value. You realize how good that blessing was when you lay down at night, smiling, your heart full of love, joy and fulfillment, knowing you did the right thing and that someone else was blessed. One should never consider a blessing something that is only theirs. A blessing is something that is used to bless others. Money will go away. A good deed in the name of our Lord will never go away, for eternity.
