Word of the day- Blessed are those who morn, for they shall be comforted: This does not refer to mourning because of the vicissitudes of life; but it is the sorrow which one experiences because of the fellowship with the Lord Jesus. It is an active sharing of the world’s hurt and sin with Jesus. This includes, not only sorrow for one’s own sin, but also sorrow because of the world’s appalling condition, and rejection of the Savior. They shall be comforted for a day of comfort awaits us, in the coming day when “God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes (Rev. 21:4). My heart hurts daily for my co-workers who have rejected Christ and choose to live against His will for them as well as for those who hate me for my relationship with Christ. (More to continue)
